1 large egg, lightly beaten1 medium onion, finely chopped3/4 cup Italian-style panko bread crumbs1/2 cup finely chopped seeded jalapeno pepper or green pepper1/2 cup ketchup3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)1/2 pound spicy bulk pork sausageGLAZE:2/3 cup ketchup2 tablespoons brown sugar2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard


In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Add beef and sausage; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into two a 6×4-in. loaves.

Prepare grill for indirect heat. Grill loaves, covered, over indirect medium heat for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine glaze ingredients. Brush top and sides of loaves with glaze. Grill until a thermometer reads 160°, another 10-15 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
